Follow our advice at each step, and you will be offered more narrating work than you can handle. In most cases other narrators in the open market, have to be both narrator and producer and this is where many fail.

 

 

Voice1 will handle the production part of your narrations. Without it your voice will probably not have those nuances that are essential to audio-book selection.

Both narrator (you) and publisher (Voice1) are fully and irrevocably bound by the latest  ICANS agreement. See here.

HERE'S WHAT YOU AGREE: NARRATIONS ONLY

Complete each sample recordings, as requested, on time and done well and delivered as required. You agree to remain with Voice1 for a period of 12 months exclusively and produce narrations as reasonably requested.

 

During this period all royalties are paid to Voice1 and shared on a 55% - 45% basis. (You get 55% but can increase up to 75%) see here!

 

After the first year, with your better understanding of the industry, you are free to work as you wish, with whom you wish and at whatever participation rates you can negotiate.

NARRATIONS & PRODUCTION

If you wish you can decide to learn about and start producing your own finished audio-books during the first 12 months.

 

We will assist you to learn what is required and will critique what your produce in the same manner as 'Narrations Only.' However in this arrangement the royalties are still paid to Voice1 and strictly shared on a 50% - 50% basis or better than that, if Voice1 also handles the marketing and placements in the industry.

 

You can choose which path you take; Narrations Only or Narrations & Production, and you can later change your mind and revert back to the other path. You have a free choice.
