How the Money Pools Work at GasOdds.

At GasOdds, how the money pools are set up directly affects how much you can earn as an official member.

We believe in transparency, so everything about GasOdds is clear and open. We also welcome your ideas! If you have any suggestions for improvement, please feel free to share them. We will probably act on them.

GasOdds generates income through weekly member subscriptions and paid predictions. This income is then divided into different money pools, as shown in the diagram below. The percentage going into each pool is fixed, so the relative amounts remain consistent.

When members take part in a prediction, payouts are shared among the participants based on the prediction rules. The total payout shares stays the same, whether there are 5 participants or 50. Naturally, the fewer people involved, the bigger your share will be. Some predictions offer payouts to all participants, while others may not.

If a single member participates in a prediction, and succeed in making an accurate prediction, they receive the entire allocated payout for that prediction

Overheads are applied at 8%. Collectively the amount paid to predictions prizes is

92% of receipts.

Gas related predictions = 46%
Non-gas related predictions = 46%

The Sticky Jackpot is the biggest winner at 20.5% and with no winner rolls over to next week.

Flying under the radar, may bring a surprise and higher winnings!

How the Money Pools Work at GasOdds.

Winning at GasOdds Predictions each week isn't just about getting the numbers right—it’s about choosing the right game for the best payout. While predictions like the Sticky Jackpot pay out the highest percentage at 20.5%, it’s easy to overlook an un-realized secret: choosing less popular predictions can lead to bigger wins!

Here’s why:
Popular predictions attract a lot of players, meaning even if you win, you're splitting the prize pool with many others.

For example, in Prediction A, where the prize is $1,000 and 20 people win, each person takes home just $50. But in Prediction B, where the prize is $600 and only 3 people win, each winner walks away with $200!

The trick to boosting your chances?
Try mixing your entries between popular and less popular predictions. While big crowds are drawn to the bigger pools, fewer entries in smaller pools can mean a bigger slice of the pie if you win.

So don’t overlook the predictions with fewer players—they may not seem as exciting upfront, but they can lead to some serious payouts.

Pro tip: Keep an eye on predictions with steady, mid-range prize percentages (6.5% to 13.0%). They often fly under the radar but can surprise you with higher individual winnings. In short: play smart, predict often, and maximize your chances where others don’t!
