There are many bad (and inefficients) ways to learn English and conversly, there are many quite good ways to pick up the world's supremely important lingua franca.

Cream Cake English was started in Kanchanaburi in 2011, by a Thai and female M.A. university graduate.
Kru Lisa has vast teaching experience for one so young. She has attended all the best seminars aimed at assisting Thai students to speak and understand English, the fastest and most efficient way possible.
Kru Lisa has gained experience by working for other language schools and then by deciding she could do better with a more progressive plan.
Enter Edward Firs. An honors graduate with years of language teaching experience gained at the Berlitz School in Versailles, France; l'Académie Anglaise in Marseille, and by 2 years with the Royal Saudi Arabian Air Force, teaching young airmen to listen to, understand and speak Aviation English.
Mr. Firs has also taught business groups, and pilots with the French Air Force. His worldwide experience of 20+ years, coupled with Kru Lisa's solid understanding of the Thai marketplace, has developed into a popular English organization, with impressive results.
To make things work better, the hour long class time has been replaced by 2 half hour sessions. This simple change has resulted in better attention, less mind-wandering and that with no added expense.
English is used as the only instructing language but not to the point of a lack of understanding. Where a simple phrase can better be explained with a Thai translation, it is given.
All English language sessions come with a huge range of videos which are provided by Cream Cake English as a free extra with one-on-one lessons.
Edward and Lisa have also published other platforms like www.teacherteacher.asia as well as several China-based platforms on contract.
Edward has also published over thirty instructional manuals on business development and has worked as a business consultant in Japan for several years.

Many amateur teachers try to teach from 'the whole English language' but this is not a good method. Intelligent teaching means selecting what 'needs' the student has and teaching to those needs.
